Whole Wheat Pita Pizza

  • 2 Whole Wheat or High Fiber Pitas (I use Joseph’s Whole Wheat Flax Pitas)
  • 2 Tablespoons of pizza sauce (or any other tomato sauce)
  • Low Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese (I use about one serving of cheese spread out on both pitas)
  • Additonal toppings: peppers, onions, other veggies
  • Garlic powder

1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Place pitas on baking sheet
3. Spoon each tablespoon of sauce onto each pita and spread until each pita is covered
4. Sprinkle on shredded cheese
5. Top with veggies and garlic powder if desired
6. Place in oven for about 12 minutes or until pitas get brown and crispy and cheese is melted
7. Enjoy!

Makes one serving of two mini pizzas!
